Summary
[edit]DescriptionEnnerdale Link bridges, Hull (geograph 2775013).jpg |
English: Ennerdale Link bridges, Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Twin bascule bridges dating from 1997, one for each direction of traffic. On Raich Carter Way (A1033), they replaced an aborted attempt to construct a tunnel under the river. They are similar in design to the Stoneferry Bridges three miles downriver which were also installed by Humberside County Council six years earlier. |
