Deutsch: Im Rheinpark am Landtagsgebäude befindet sich die "Energie-Pyramide", die von dem Düsseldorfer Künstler Thomas Schönauer und dem Objektdesigner Berend F. van Laar entwickelt wurde. Sie besteht aus vier unterschiedlich hohen und ineinander verschachtelten Dreiecksschenkeln aus Edelstahlröhren, deren Winkelmaß dem der Pyramiden von Gizeh in Ägypten gleicht. Die Röhrenenden fußen jeweils auf vier konzentrischen Edelstahlringen. An der Stelle, an der die Winkelenden auf den Ring treffen, ist ein kleines, flaches Metalldreieck angebracht, das als Messanzeige fungiert.
English: The "Energy Pyramid" is located in the Rheinpark near the state parliament building and was developed by the Düsseldorf artist Thomas Schönauer and the object designer Berend F. van Laar. It consists of four nested triangular legs of different heights made of stainless steel tubes, the angle of which is similar to that of the pyramids of Gizeh in Egypt. The tube ends each rest on four concentric stainless steel rings. A small, flat metal triangle is attached where the angle ends meet the ring and acts as a gauge.
