Description
Deutsch: Äquivalentdosis als Oberbegriff für Körperdosen sowie für Dosismessgrößen bei äußerer Strahlenexposition. Die Abb. veranschaulicht die Ableitung aus der Energiedosis für eine Strahlenart. Liegen verschiedene Strahlenarten vor, addieren sich die resultierenden Äquivalentdosen. Dosismessgrößen dienen bei praktischen Anwendungen mit äußerer Strahlenexposition zur Abschätzung der nicht direkt messbaren Körperdosen.
