Description A pair of Arriva Trains Wales Class 143 Pacers stand at Penarth waiting to depart with the 2D62 1702 service to Bargoed. Since 1968 - when the line westwards from Penarth was closed to passenger traffic, town has been the terminus of the line from Cardiff. Penarth trains leave the Vale of Glamorgan Line at Cogan Junction. Unit 143 609 - which is at the front of the train, carries the name 'Sir Tom Jones'.
