Description
Français : Photo prise depuis la colline de Baie-de-Shawinigan. Au premier plan, quelques maisons du village de Baie-de-Shawinigan, sur la rive droite de la rivière Shawinigan, qui rejoint le Saint-Maurice dans la baie de Shawinigan. Une petite structure (pont pour les travailleurs ?) traverse l'embouchure de la rivière Shawinigan. Plus loin, sur la gauche de la photo, la deuxième centrale hydroélectrique de la Northern Aluminium Company, construite en 1907. Partiellement cachée derrière celle de la Northern Aluminium, on distingue une partie de la centrale hydroélectrique Shawinigan-1 de la Shawinigan Water & Power Company, construite en 1900 et 1901 et mise en service en 1902. Vers le centre de la photo, la centrale hydroélectrique Shawinigan-2 de la Shawinigan Water & Power Company, construite en 1910 et mise en service en 1911. Sur la colline, à gauche, les bâtiments des prises d'eau des centrales, reliés à celles-ci par des conduites d'eau.
