| Description |
English: Embankment on the flood plain, Kirkoswald This is presumably a flood bank, but has probably been over-topped this winter. There is a tree trunk up against the fence at the top of the bank, and the fence to the left is festooned by debris. In the distance the bank is faced with stone, and beyond that is the River Eden. |
