Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The combination of File:Ellipse_set_2.png and File:Ellipse_set_1.png.

A set of affinitive ellipses with the same length of minor axis, derivated from the red circle. The dots are at the focus points.
Above: The ellipses are slided to the positions where one of their focus points fit to the center of the circle. The decreasing of the focus length visibly follows the increasing of the eccentricity, or of the rate of the major and minor axes.

Below: The same ellipses slided to be tangent of the circle from inside.
