English: Postcard of Elliott Bay and the Seattle waterfront; at right is the Pacific Coast Co. dock (a.k.a. Lilly Bogardus Dock), ca. 1906 (this is from a 1907 postcard). In the background is the Washington Hotel (earlier known as the Denny Hotel) atop Denny Hill. Shortly after this photo was taken, the hotel was demolished and that portion of the hill was regraded.

Unidentified propeller steamer, single-stack.
Unidentified sidewheeler, possibly George E. Starr, based on the appearance of the vessel and the date of this photograph. By 1907 there were very few sidewheelers operating on Puget Sound.
