Description
English: One of the oldest Gothic style churches in Germany, the Elisabethkirche was built to honor Saint Elisabeth, who chose Marburg to be her home after her husband's untimely death. Today it is an active Protestant church whose organ concerts and other events attract both locals and foreigners to enter through her fading red doors.
