Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This is a part of a series of drawings of the individual elements electron configuration: Each diagram shows the electron shells with the number of electrons, and furthermore, each electron bears a letter "s", "p", "d" or "f" which shows the orbital electrons belong.

This drawing depicts electron configuration in a atom: The big ball in the middle depicts the nucleus, and the little balls are electrons.

The color on the big ball in the middle is green for non-metals, blue for the noble gases, violet for actinoids, purple pink for transition metals, red alkali metals, gray for "other metals", yellow for halogens, orange for the alkaline earth metal arts and brown for half metals.
