Description

Domingo, 15 de novembro de 2020, dia de votação em primeiro turno das eleições municipais. 147.918.483 eleitores aptos para escolher vereadores, prefeito e vice-prefeito de 5.567 municípios. Tradicionalmente realizada no primeiro domingo de outubro, a votação foi adiada em função da pandemia do novo coronavírus.

Para diminuir os riscos de contaminação pelo novo coronavírus, o Tribunal Superior Eleitora (TSE) elaborou o Protocolo de Segurança Sanitária, em parceria com autoridades médicas. Entre eles estão eliminação de pontos de contato físico, adoção de etapas de higienização com álcool em gel, caneta individual, preferencialmente do próprio eleitor, e o uso de máscaras de proteção individual.
