Description
English: Schoolteacher Elbira Zipitria, one of the founders of the ikastolas, was a Basque nationalist who promoted use of the Basque language and was committed to equal rights among men and women. This 1939 photo was taken in Sare, Labourd after Zipitria had fled there to escape the Spanish Civil War in 1936.
Esperanto: Instruistino Elbira Zipitria, unu el la fondintoj de la ikastoloj, estis eŭska naciisto kiu antaŭenigis la uzon de la eŭska lingvo kaj sin dediĉis atingi egalrajtecon inter viroj kaj virinoj. Oni faris ĉi tiun 1939 fotografaĵon en Sara, Lapurdo, post kiam ŝi fuĝis al tie eskapanta la Hispana Enlanda Milito en 1936.
Euskara: Elbira Zipitria maistra, ikastolen sortzaileetarikoa, euskararen sustatzaile, gizon-emakumeen arteko eskubide berdintasunaren aldezkari, eusko abertzale. Saran (Lapurdi) egin zioten argazkia, 1936ko gerratik ihesi hara joana baitzen.
Français : L'institutrice Elbira Zipitria, l'un des fondateurs de la ikastolas, était nationaliste basque qui a promue l'utilisation de la langue basque et s'est engagé à obtenir l'égalité des droits entre les hommes et les femmes. On a pris cette photo en Sare, Labourd (1939), après Mme. Zipitria fuie à cette ville pour échapper à la guerre civile espagnole en 1936.
