Description
English: Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico. Postcard view; undated, c. early/mid 1920s from automobiles & details. Shows 60 Street in front of Great Plaza (at right). Cathedral unseen just off to left; center left is old Archbishop's Palace, at the time housing "Peninsular Athenaeum" (now Museo MACAY). Automobiles are seen parked along the right; tram tracks on street at left. In center distance an autobus, a horse-drawn carriage, and a tram are seen.
