Description
Türkçe: Yabancı elçilerin kabul törenleri, imparatorluğun gücünü göstermek amacıyla, üç ayda bir yeniçerilerin maaşlarının verildiği ‘ulufe’ gününe rastlatılır, elçi heyetinin Topkapı Sarayı’nın İkinci Avlu’sundan geçişi sırasında ulufelerini almış yeniçeriler, yere konmuş çanaklardaki yemekleri kapışırlardı. Dizinin ikinci resmi olan bu tabloda, sağda iki saray görevlisinin öncülüğünde avludan geçerken betimlenen elçi heyeti, ‘çanak yağması’ adı verilen bu olaya tanık olmaktadır.
