Deutsch: Das von Adolph Johannes Fischer 1915 entworfene und gestaltene "Eiserne Edelweiß" über das die „Wiener Zeitung“ am 27. November 1915 unter anderem Folgendes berichtet hat: „Der Wehrschild, ein großes Edelweiß, das dem Regiment [Landesschützenregiment Nr.II] verliehene Feldzeichen, wurde in mächtiger monumentaler Wirkung von Professor Ad. Joh Fischer geschaffen, der auf Einladung des Offizierskorps der erhebenden Feier beiwohnte. Der Wehrschild wird zur Vernagelung auch an die Front gesendet und sodann im Regimentsmuseum ausgestellt werden.“ Seit 2011 ist Fischers Wehrschild im „Tirol Panorama“ zu sehen: Die folgende Pressefotografie zeigt Fischers Wehrschild im Abschnitt der „Tiroler Kaiserschützen“. |

Das Foto wurde von einem unbekannten Soldaten gemacht und 1915/16 von Oberst Povolny der Ennser Stadtgemeindevorstehung übermittelt. Das Foto ist als bald 100 Jahre alte amtliche Fotografie gemeinfrei, zumals es keine besondere Schöpfunghöhe besitzt und der Fotograf höchst wahrscheinlich im Ersten Weltkrieg ums Leben gekommen sind. |
