English: Ein Yizrael (The Jezreel Spring) is a spring located west of Yizrael Mound, The spring emanates from the tunnel system hewn into the layer of the rock that holds the water. The tunnel was created to increase the flow of the spring water during the British Mandate, and the walls of the pool were reinforced with concrete.
In Samuel I 29:1 the "spring which is in Jezreel" is mentioned as King Saul's campsite before waging was with the Philistines.
