| Description |
English: Eilean a'Chapuill The first night camping on a three-day sea kayak trip from Tayvallich to Carsaig via Corr Eilean, this is one of two tidal islands named Eilean a'Chapuill within a very small area. This one is joined at low tide to the Island of Danna, itself only tidally separated from the mainland. We were trying hard to avoid any camping spots with livestock, as this was during the Foot and Mouth epidemic. The lack of grazing on this island resulted in its being quite hard to avoid pitching one's tent on primroses or orchids. |
