English: The Edwin B. Wood House, built 1867, is an excellent, almost original, example of the Italian Villa style of architecture popular in the United States from the 1850s into the 1880s.

Tecumseh is a small town in the far southeastern corner of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. Tecumseh was the original County Seat of Lenawee County and maintains a rich heritage of 19th Century architecture in its two National Register of Historic Places districts.
