Men of the Day No.1300: Caricature of The Rt Rev Edward Stuart Talbot DD CVO.
Caption reads: "Winton", abbreviation of 'Wintoniensis', the formal signature of the Bishop of Winchester.

The bishop was successively Bishop of Rochester, Southwark and Winchester. He is illustrated, when Bishop of Winchester, wearing the robes of the Prelate of the Order of the Garter.
