DescriptionEdificio Central Park, Buenos Aires.jpg | Edificio Central Park, an office building in the Barracas ward of Buenos Aires. Originally built in 1889 as the General Match Company (Compañía General de Fósforos) factory, it was sold in 1928 to the Fabril Financiera printing establishment. Fabril Financiera ceased operations in 1993, the building was acquired by Edelven developers in 1996, and in 1998 the Central Park building was inaugurated; with nearly 600,000 sq ft of office space, it became one of the largest such buildings in Argentina. A significant expansion was carried out in 2005 by Brunzini-Enea Spilimbergo architects. The exterior was decorated by artist Pérez Célis. | ||
