| Description |
English: The photo was taken in April 2023 on Easter in Godlevo. It was inspired by the ancient tradition of the village, for people to honor Easter in a special way. Villagers get up early in the morning and dress up in traditional costumes called "nosii". The teenage girls,called 'momi prepare holy breads called cosunaci and colorful eggs and lambs for consecration .Teenage boys called momci go to the centre, riding horses. At noon, everyone dances to the sound of drums and zurni. After that, people go into the forest above the village, where a sacrifice is made for health and prosperity. In the evening, again, symbolizing Christianity, the unquenchable flame of tradition and Bulgaria, residents and guests of the village once again have fun together, dressed in the colors of the Bulgarian costume and intoxicated by the beat of the Bulgarian dance.
Български: Снимката е заснета през април 2023 на Великден в Годлево.Вдъхновена е от стародавната традиция на селото,хората да почитат великден по един по специален начин.Жителите на селото стават рано сутринта и се обличат в носии.Момите приготвят козунаци,яйца и агнета за освещаване.Ергените отиват на мегдана,яздейки коне.На обяд всички играят хора под звука на тъпани и зурни.След това хората се качват в гората над селото,където се прави курбан за здраве и берекет.Вечерта отново,символизирайки християнството,нестихващия пламък на традицията и българщината,жители и гости на селото отново се веселят заедно,облечени в багрите на бълтарската носия и опиянени от такта на българското хоро.
