Harting Beacon is a hilltop enclosure and Anglo-Saxon burial ground located in the path of the South Downs Way in West Sussex. Hilltop enclosures date to the late Bronze Age, and some were subsequently converted to hill forts. They were built with a bank and ditch and two to three entrances. This site also originally contained a hlaew, or Anglo-Saxon burial site, and some examples of late Bronze Age pottery have also been found. On this west side, the remains or the originally ramparts can be traced, still visible as a ridge line around the hilltop.
