Description
English: This dry creek is in Arizona's Canyon de Chelly National Monument. The feature at center appears to be a type of landslide deposit, involving earth / soil / regolith that has moved as a viscous fluid. Such landslides are called "earthflows". The lobate-shaped landslide deposit diverted the original course of the stream.

Stratigraphy: De Chelly Sandstone, Leonardian Stage, Lower Permian
