English: Fragment of Early Saxon wrist clasp, worn surviving end with broad flattened bar, the inner part of which, adjacent to the break, has multiple transverse incised lines. Narrow inner rib with double row of tiny stamped dots, shaped rear edge with rounded perforated outer lug and most of another semi-circular projection before break. 14 x >19mm. Ancient breaks. Hines Form B20 (1993). |
