English: The light scattered from the edge of a phase defect. The calculation is same as provided for [Image:Scattered light from phase defect.JPG], and specifically assumes a wavelength of 13.5 nm and an angle of incidence of 6 degrees. The optical path of the phase defect for a given defect height h is therefore equal to 4*π*cos(6°)*h/(13.5 nm). |
