| Description |
Español: “Escudo de tipo español, con bordura de gules sobre la cual aparece el lema -Fraternidad y Paz-. Al centro y en campo amarillo, una higuera terrasada que simboliza la abundancia de éstas, y colgada de ella una campana que simboliza la predicación del cacique de la tribu ordenando fundar el pueblo en ese lugar. Bajo la higuera, en el tercio inferior, cinco burelas en faja, tres de azul y dos de plata, símbolo del agua. Todo esto sobre una piel lambreguinada e incrustada en gemas. En la parte superior y como cuidándolo el Arcángel San Miguel, con una cruz trebolada sobre el pecho, símbolo de religión, además escudo guerrero y espada, símbolo de combatir el mal.” |
