Description U.S. Navy arresting gear crewmen unhook the arresting cable from a Douglas EKA-3B Skywarrior (BuNo 142647) of tactical electronic warfare squadron VAQ-132 Scorpions aboard the aircraft carrier USS America (CVA-66) on 1 November 1969. VAQ-132 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing Nine (CVW-9) aboard the America for a deployment to Vietnam from 10 April to 21 December 1970. The EKA-3B 142647 was retired to the MASDC as 2A0086 on 17 December 1973.
