ECP Compact Cassette (Russia, 1990s) made on former AGFA tooling

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: ECP Compact Cassette (Russia, 1990s) made on former AGFA tooling in Zelenogorsk. ECP - the en:Zelenogorsk Electrochemical Plant was and is primarily a nuclear material facility. In the 1990s, as the European companies divested their compact cassette plants, the management purchased an outgoing AGFA production line from BASF (the owner of AGFA at the time), and relocated it to Zelenogorsk. The purchase included tooling for the "figure-eight" AGFA shells designed in 1989 by Umlauf-Orrom ([1]). These were used for ECP's premium UF and GM lines.
