Description A U.S. Navy Lockheed EC-130G Hercules (BuNo 151891) from Transport Squadron 21 (VR-21) in flight off Oahu, Hawaii (USA), circa in 1964. From 26 December 1963 to 31 December 1965, two EC-130Gs formed the "TACAMO componenent" of VR-21, used to communicate with ballistic missile submarines. On 1 January 1966, the aircraft were reassigned to Airborne Early Warning Squadron 1 (VW-1) and formed Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron 3 "Ironmen" on 1 July 1968.
