Description
English: DUMBARTON, CHURCH STREET, MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS, COLLEGE BOW

Plaque on the Bow says: One of the Tower Arches of St Mary's Collegiate Church Dumbarton. Founded ADMCCCCL by Isabella Countess of Lennox and Duchess of Albany. Its original position was on the site now occupied by the central railway station from which place it was removed in ADMDCCCL to a site in Church Street and again in MDCCCCVII this sole remnant of a once extensive pile was removed to its present position.
