Duddo Stone Circle

| Description |
English: Duddo Stone Circle Originally a 4 stone circle this is now a 5 stone circle after the 5th stone was reinstated - the site was excavated in 2008 and did produce fragments of burnt bone, likely to be the result of a disturbed cremation burial in the centre of the circle. Access to the stones is via an easy walk from the main road (about 20 - 25 mins) and the site was empty despite the lovely weather. |
