Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Duck Hole, New Forest. The vegetation zonation clearly shows where sandy heathland slope ends and valley mire begins. The brown heather is on the undulating north-west facing sides of the Wilverley Plain plateau. Duck Hole is a boggy valley, and here it has a line of trees following the stream down towards Ober Water.
