Description
Русский: Поперечный срез вайи папоротника (Dryopleris filix-mas). На периферии среза (слева направо) расположен слой механической ткани (окрашен желтым цветом). В толще следующего слоя коры расположены два проводящих пучка (меристелы) – фрагменты центрального цилиндра (стелы), представленного диктиостелой (тип сифоностелы). Конфокальная микроскопия, окраска флюоресцентным красителем Calcofluor White, окрашивающим клеточные стенки в разные цвета в зависимости от их состава, красный цвет - следствие автофлюоресценции хлоропластов.
English: Cross-section of the Dryopleris filix-mas leaf, stained with Calcofluor White (confocal microscope). On the periphery of the cross-section (from left to right) is the layer of strengthening tissue. In the next cortical layer are two conducting bundles – part of dictyostele (type of siphonostele).
