Summary
[edit]DescriptionDrumlin country (3) - geograph.org.uk - 171700.jpg |
English: Drumlin country (3) Some of the best drumlin country is to be found in south east Down where the drumlins continue into Strangford Lough to form small islands. This is Balloo approaching from Saintfield. The road drops steeply to the bridge over the Ballinree Burn (bottom left) and then climbs, even more steeply, towards Balloo cross roads. The Lough is just over two miles to the east beyond the cross roads. |
