English: Two-piece dress, printed chiffon and lace, circa 1900 style- garden party dress two piece dress; floral voile patterned with roses .1 bodice, trimmed at waist with light brown taffeta; front opening trimmed with black and cream lace; long sleeves; six buttons at back .2 skirt, two-tiered, very full, with main fullness to back; centre back panel trimmed with black lace “MRS SANDAL’S GARDEN PARTY DRESS Printed Chiffon and Lace (two piece). Bodice small boned bodice of floral chiffon mounted with cream bobbin-lace appliqué and narrow blace (black) lace edging. Front opening V necked front and back – long sleeves – tightly swathed brown silk waistband and bow at back with fancy buttons lined. Skirt very full chiffon and lace as above – deep flounces and small train. All silk lined with elaborate underskirt of gauze and pleating. Maker Bourniche – Paris.”
