Description
Deutsch: Die Deckelbüchse wurde um 1705 - 1708 von dem Dresdener Bildhauer Paul Heermann (1673 - 1732) geschaffen und gehört heute zur Sammlung des "Grünen Gewölbes" (Inv.Nr. II 28). Dort ist der Pokal seit 1724 nachweisbar. Das Foto wurde in der Sonderausstellung "Triumph des sächsischen Barock: der Bildhauer Paul Heermann" 2022/23 in den SKD aufgenommen. Das Objekt ist nicht unter die Katalognummern aufgenommen (Stephan Koja; Claudia Kryza-Gersch (Hrsg.): Der sächsische Barockbildhauer Paul Heermann. Sandstein Verlag, Dresden 2022). Vgl.
English: The lidded box (Deckelbüchse) was created around 1705 - 1708 by the Dresden sculptor Paul Heermann (1673 - 1732) and today belongs to the collection of the "Green Vault" (Grünes Gewölbe, Inv.Nr. II 28). There is documentary evidence of the cup since 1724. The photo was taken in the special exhibition "Triumph of the Saxon Baroque: the sculptor Paul Heermann" 2022/23 in the SKD. The object is not included among the catalogue numbers (Stephan Koja; Claudia Kryza-Gersch (eds.): Der sächsische Barockbildhauer Paul Heermann. Sandstein Verlag, Dresden 2022).
