  • The small adobe cabin has a thatched roof over the porch covering, at right, a large pile of firewood.
  • The mining operation (not visible) sits near the water's edge on a rocky embankment below a wooden watertank in the background. Wagon wheel tracks curve around the cabin toward the water tower. The river and opposite shore are in the background.
