Detail shot of the starboard outer Pratt & Whitney R-2000 engine of DC-4 'ZS-AUB', c/n 42984. 'AUB' was South African Airways' first DC-4 and was delivered in May 1946. She is now operated by the South African Airways Historic Flight, based at Rand Airport. This shot was taken while she was part of the static display at the 2014 AAD (African Aerospace & Defence) airshow, held at Waterkloof AFB, South Africa. 20-9-2014 |
