Double Loop Annular Buckle
Description
English: A complete cast copper alloy Medieval double loop annular buckle.The frame is circular in plan with a bevelled inside edge and a d-shaped cross section.It has a narrowed, bent and slightly offset strap bar. It has a dark green patina, and has some corrosion. It is in a fair condition, although the pin is missing.

Similar buckles have been published and dated c. 1350-c. 1650 (Whitehead 1996: 24).
