Description
Deutsch: Luftbild des Steinbruchs vom Zementwerk Dotternhausen, aufgenommen von einem Tragschrauber aus etwa 5700 Fuß Höhe. Die Aufnahme erfolgte in Ost-West-Richtung. Links oben neben Dotternhausen ist auch das Zementwerk der LafargeHolcim Ltd. zu sehen. Man kann auch die Materialseilbahn Dotternhausen–Plettenberg zwischen Zementwerk und Steinbruch erkennen. Auf der Nordspitze des rund 1000 m hohen Plettenbergplateaus steht ein 158 m hohen Fernmeldeturm (Mitte rechts).
English: Aerial view of the quarry from the Dotternhausen cement plant, taken by a gyrocopter from an altitude of about 5700 feet. The picture was taken in an east-west direction. At the top left, next to Dotternhausen, the cement plant of LafargeHolcim Ltd. can be seen. One can also make out the Dotternhausen-Plettenberg material cableway between the cement plant and the quarry. On the northern tip of the approximately 1000 m high Plettenberg plateau is a 158 m high telecommunications tower (centre right).
