La dorade rose, aussi connue sous le nom de pageot rose, est un poisson de la famille des Sparidae. L'espèce est reconnaissable à la dimension de ses yeux, qui lui ont valu le surnom de « beaux yeux ». Nous la pêchons au chalut en Méditerranée, dans le Golfe du Lion, lors de nos campagnes MEDITS de pêche démersale (proche du fond).

English:

The red sea bream, also known as the pink pageot, is a fish from the Sparidae family. The species is recognizable by the size of its eyes, which have earned it the nickname "beautiful eyes". We fish it with trawls in the Mediterranean, in the Gulf of Lion, during our MEDITS demersal fishing campaigns (near the bottom).
