Description
English: Doling Monastery at Bakhim near Ravangla, South Sikkim Doling Monastery is located on a small hillock, about 6 kms southward from Rabongla bazaar. Lama Rigdzin Longyang founded this monastery in the year 1718. A.D. Due to frequent earthquake damages to the structure the monastery had been rebuilt in 1840, 1920 and finally in 1984. There are many sacred objects of worship in its premises
