English: Disused road through heathland of New Forest. This old road used to join the A31.Looking south, see the 42 OS map. A new road now passes eastwards from here through Slufters inclosure and under the A31 (hooray) to Bolderwood. The gorse in the foreground has been burned off to encourage new tender growth, seen at the base of the plant. |
