Description
Italiano: La chiesa di maccafà fu eretta dalla famiglia maccafani vissuti a Pozzaglia Sabina tra il conquecento e il seicento.Le origini di questa famiglia affondano nalla storia del paese di Pereto.Mario Maccafani figlio di Alessandro Maccafani si stabilì a Pozzaglia dando addirittura il simbolo ala paese cioè il Gallo la testa del gallo che in paese è frequente vederla nelle opere realizzate.La chiesetta di Maccafà di proprietà della famiglia si trova a poca distanza dal paese lungo l'attuale percorso di S.Benedetto.Il luogo ha rappresentato per gli abitanti una meta di pellegrinaggio.Il lunedì dell'angelo ovvero il giorno di pasquetta una processione partiva dalla chiesa parrocchiale e raggiungeva tale località.Celebrata la messa era tradizione rimanere per fare un pic-nic sui prati circostanti
