Description

Seen here is a model-based reconstruction of life on a Permian forest floor. This is a public exhibit at Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.


This is Diploceraspis, a fossil amphibian known from the Permian of North America. It had a skull shaped somewhat like a B-2 bomber plane.
