Seen here is a model-based reconstruction of life on an ancient seafloor in the CIncinnati, Ohio area during the Late Ordovician. This is a public exhibit at the Nebraska State Museum of Natural History in Lincoln, Nebraska. Depicted organisms include a straight-shelled nautiloid cephalopod, Isotelus & Flexicalymene trilobites, Grewingkia horn corals, colonial corals, bivalves, gastropods, brachiopods, bryozoans, crinoids, edrioasteroids, starfish, and algae. |
