English: Digital photo flurometer is a device used to measure the parameter of fluroscence.This device is highly used in the pharmaceutical analysis.

Types of photoflurometer:

Digital photoflurometer was mainly three types they are 1.Filter flurometer. 2.Spectroflurometer. 3.Integrated flurometer.

General opearative method:

1.Connect the main plug of an instruments to the 230V a.c. mains.

2.Set the sensitivity control in the LOW and standard black control to minimum counter clockwise.

3.Insert a appropriate primary and secondary filters in their respective slots .

4.Switch on the instrument check if the cooling fan is running this can be noticed by the slight noice from the fan and the flow of the air from the perfominated sheet at the back.

5.Allow the warm period of 30 minutes priop to use.

Measuring methods:

1.Set sensitivity control switch in high position. 2.Insert test tube blank of the solution in the test tube holder. 3.Adjust the display to zero by the blank control. 4.Return to the sensitivity switch to the low position to readout should zero with remain zero within #2 digits. 5.Insert the tube standard ( known concentration)adjest the standard control till display reads the standard the standard reading. Always adjest full scale 100 if not possible try medium (or) high sensitivity. 6.Rechecks the blank zero and standard full scale reading .If it is disturbed readjest the using appropriate control.

7.Insert test tube of unknown sample.and record the reading of unknown .This reading is the concentration of the unknown.
