Brustbild des Kaisers Karl V. mit kurzem Haar, Schnurr- und Vollbart nach links, im hochgeschlossenen Wams und pelzbesetztem Mantel, Barett und Orden vom Goldenen Vlies. Links und rechts vom Brustbild zweizeilige Aufschrift.
Rückseite: ILLE REGENDDA TIBI SIC SOLA CONCTA DEDIT 1-5-3-4. Umschrift zwischen Zier- Linienkreis. Bekrönter Doppeladler mit Wappenbrustschild von Österreich-Kastilien. Kommentar: Die Medaille ist eine Stempelkombination der Medaillenvorderseite von 1532 und einer Adlerückseite von 1534. In der Literatur wird die Prägung von 1532 auch als Schautaler geführt.
