Description

Eight Songs For Diepenheim.

De Cultural Boxes (ook wel ‘De Diepenheim Tapes/Types’ genoemd) achter het rosarium de Broenshof zijn een idee van kunstenaar Arno van der Mark. Na van der Mark hebben verschillende kunstenaars de vitrines ingericht met hun kunstwerken. Simon Benson tekende voor de huidige inhoud van de vitrines n.a.v. zijn tentoonstelling ‘From A Small Model Of The Mind To The Book Of First Things’ in de herfst van 2007.

Benson maakte hiertoe acht gevoelige potloodtekeningen van vogels met de titel 'Eight Songs For Diepenheim'. Voor de Cultural Boxes werden de tekeningen geprint tegen een egale achtergrond in zachte crème of bruintinten of in diepblauw# Sommige van de vogels zijn in negatief afgebeeld#
