Description
English: This is a diagram of an airport safety flag, which is required to be mounted on vehicles operating in an air operations area (runways, taxiways, aircraft parking areas), if the vehicle is not equipped with a two-way radio that can contact air traffic control or is being escorted by a vehicle with such a radio.

FAA guidelines require the flag to be at least 36 inches (3 feet) (914.4 mm) by 36 inches, with orange and white squares 12 inches (1 foot) (304.80 mm) by 12 inches.

The colors required are white and international orange.
